The annual RiteCare Classic Golf Benefit was held on Friday, September 24 at Pacific Springs Golf Course in Omaha. This year’s RiteCare Classic raised approximately $20,000 for Nebraska RiteCare speech and language services. . .

The annual WalkRite for RiteCare was a wonderful success this past June 19th at Chalco Hills Recreation Area. The weather was a breezy 82° as we welcomed 100 RiteCare families, the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute Clinicians, and Scottish Rite Masons. . .

The threat of rain was not enough to stop the 11th annual WalkRite for RiteCare on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Despite heavy rains in other parts of Omaha, it held off at Lake Zorinsky for the Walk, and a strong 75 RiteCare families and Scottish Rite Masons came out to walk and raise around $5,000 for the Scottish Rite Foundation of Omaha. . .

In 1998, the Scottish Rite golf outing began as a fun event for members, with extra money going to RiteCare. Somewhere along the way, it became a fundraiser in its own right, and was rebranded as the RiteCare Classic. This year, the RiteCare Classic, held on June 12th at Pacific Springs Golf Club, grossed over $20,000 for speech and language services. . .

The 10th annual WalkRite for RiteCare was a wonderful success on June 23rd at Lake Zorinsky’s Picnic Pavilion. The weather was a perfect 79°, as we welcomed 150 RiteCare families, the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute staff and faculty, and Scottish Rite Masons and their families to Lake Zorinsky’s picnic pavilion for the Walk. . .

Twenty years ago, the Scottish Rite golf outing began as a fun event for members, with extra money going to RiteCare. Over the years, the annual golf benefit became one of the Scottish Rite signature events supporting the RiteCare Speech and Language Clinic. This year, the RiteCare Classic, held on June 13st at Pacific Springs Golf Club, grossed over $16,000 for speech and language services. . .

Each September, the Omaha Valley Scottish Rite makes special presentations, recognizing our 50-Year members and our UNO scholarship recipients. This year, nearly 100 Scottish Rite Masons and their ladies gathered to make the presentations, after enjoying a wonderful dinner of homemade lasagna, breadsticks and salad made by our Culinary Masters. . . 

The Scottish Rite began working with Womens Edition magazine as a way to promote rentals and upcoming events. Womens Edition helps the Scottish Rite reach a target demographic that often directs families' philanthropies and helps decide family rentals for weddings or events. It has been a very positive relationship! . . .

The Scottish Rite Masonic Center has undertaken to promote our fraternity and our philanthropies in the community, beginning in 2016. Advertisements promoting rentals and the fraternity have appeared in the Omaha Community Playhouse programs with the theme "Dad Was a Freemason - Why Aren't You?" and in Chamber of Commerce publications. Additionally, the Scottish Rite has partnered with KPTM-Fox 42 for a series of "Masonic Minutes," highlighting aspects of the Scottish Rite. Past videos have included a minute on history, our membership, and in December, 2016, our RiteCare philanthropy. . . .
