Lincoln Hosts 2nd Statewide RiteCare Meeting
Several years ago, Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Nebraska, began working to improve the unity between Nebraska's RiteCare clinics. He noticed that the clinics in Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, and the newest clinic in Kearney were operating semi-independently of one another. Thus began a tradition of annual meetings between the state's RiteCare clinicians and Nebraska Scottish Rite Masons. . .
BEA and the Scottish Rite Team Up for 4th Annual Ethics on Trial
On Thursday, April 21ST, the Alliance and Omaha's Scottish Rite produced their 4th annual "Ethics on Trial" at the Scottish Rite theater. The multi-media production uses a mock-trial format and audience participation to explore ethical issues such as: a wrong-vs-wrong ethical choice, stem cell donation, media ethics, and, this year, a corporate code of ethics policy on employee political activity.

March is proving to be a busy month at the Scottish Rite! We broke a record and served 190 guests at the Fish Fry from 11 - 1:00 during the first fish fry on March 11th. Scottish Rite Masons demonstrated our love for our ladies with wonderful entertainment from Omaha's own Vintage Vocalist Michael Walker, who takes us back to a time when the Rat Pack ruled Las Vegas and crooning was cool. Afterward, Ian Barchus presented the DeMolay flower speech, which reminded us of the love and devotion each person should have for his lady. . .
