James D Hirl is married to Harriet Hirl, and has 2 daughters and the proud grandparent of four grandkids.

He was raised a Master Mason in October, 1996, and joined the Scottish Rite and Tangier Shrine in November and December, 1996. He served as Master of Springfield Lodge in 2003 and 2007, and was Potentate of Tangier Shrine in 2017.
