It is with great sorrow we announce that Kenneth A. Lundgren, 33° has laid down his working tools. He was born on August 9, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska and passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 81.
Kenneth was educated in Omaha Public Schools, graduating from Central High School in 1961. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1965, and served in the US Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971. He received a Masters of Business Administration from Creighton University in 1983. From 1966 to 1990, Kenneth was a Manager with US West Communications, and served as Finance Manager at First Data Resources from 1990 to 1996, and Finance Manager with ITI Marketing Services from 1996 to 1997.
He married Pauline Williams in 1971, and has two sons, Darren and Adam.
Kenneth was raised at St John’s Lodge #25 in April, 1968, joining the Scottish Rite in the November, 1968 Reunion. He later moved his Blue Lodge membership to John J. Mercer Lodge #290. Kenneth was a longtime member of the 18th Degree team, and served as Director of the 18th Degree from 1978 to 1983. He was Wise Master of the Chapter of Rose Croix in 1982 and was active on the 33rd Degree team for many years. He also served on the Scottish Rite Foundation of Omaha board. He was invested a Knight Commander of the Court of Honour in 1977 and Coroneted a 33° Inspector General Honorary in 1989.
He was also active in the community, serving on the Omaha Home for Boys Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees for his Church, was an advisor to Boy Scout Troop 444 served on the Board for Social Settlement Association, as well other civic organizations.
Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha is handling the funeral arrangements, but nothing has been announced as of present.
