Jonathan is degree director for the 29° and is active in York Rite bodies. He is teaching himself to play the guitar.

Jonathan Paz was born in Abilene, Texas, to an Air Force family. After having lived in and/or near St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, England; Fort Worth, Texas; Abilene, Texas (again); and Tucson, Arizona; he moved to the Omaha area in 1998. He graduated from Bellevue West High School in 2001 and received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005. He currently works at Mutual of Omaha as an Application Developer. 

Jonathan joined the Omaha Valley of the Scottish Rite in November, 2007. He served as Master of Papillion Lodge #11 A.F.&A.M in 2012. He is active in the York Rite, currently serving as Grand Royal Arch Captain in the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons. He is also a member of Tangier Shrine.
